The first Fat Lizard restaurant was opened in January 2018 from the idea of the founders of Treffipub to establish a place in Espoo that combines decent food and beer. The principles of restaurateurs are in line with the values of our brewery, and the Lizard restaurants combine American service culture and first-class ingredients.

Fat Lizard restaurants offer the brewery front-row seats behind the brass counter: there you can always find the most comprehensive selection of our brewery's beers. The restaurants also serve as an excellent test laboratory for our new releases.

There’s a restaurant in Otaniemi, Espoo, where you can get food (almost) every day of the year until late at night. We opened our doors in January 2018, right after the metro reached Otaniemi (Aalto-yliopisto).
We believe in the power of honest and showy food. We constantly grill and cook something new in our minds and are happy to dip our spoons into Espoo’s food culture. The heart of our restaurant is a living fire. Our authentic italian wood heated pizza ovens nurture our infamous Espoo pizzas and our to die for steaks are baked on a charcoal grill.

Fat Lizard's second coming happened at the crack of dawn, in the east, but that's where the sunbeam vibe ends. To find your way, just follow the boot prints leading east from Herttoniemi metro station. Cooks in Hertsi are not pampered with hand-creamed life lines, but rather, they sport at least a three-day stubble. It's the same edgy set and offering as in Otaniemi, but with more layers and twists.
For those who venture higher, there's the Penthouse. For business and leisure.
Strutting under bright streetlights is definitely not our thing. That's why our journey continues from one edge to another. And once again, we shatter preconceptions and impale false prophets. What else would you expect from a city outskirts kid? We want to paint your imagination with bright spray paint in the midst of gray concrete suburbs and liberate people from the prison of low expectations.

It takes time to get used to being in the spotlight, and it sure feels different to the suburbs we are used to. Fear not, the city center won’t stand a chance, we won’t fit it – we make our space. Confident as we are, we’ll make noise in this neighborhood too.

It is in this buzzing location, at the corner of Mannerheimintie and Aleksanterinkatu, that we stick to our roots. These roots thrive from fat and honest food fresh in ingredients and we top it with a pint of good times and cold beer.
