Olut on nimetty brittiläisen lentäjäsankari Eric “Winkle” Brownin mukaan. Winkle Brown lensi eläessään 487 eri ilma-alusta, enemmän kuin kukaan muu historiassa.

Winkle Brown Sale is a refreshed, straightforward and easy-to-enjoy brown ale with Yankee hops. The aroma that can be smelled is toasted malt and a hint of dark chocolate.

The beer is named after British pilot hero Eric “Winkle” Brown. Winkle Brown flew 487 different aircraft while alive, more than anyone else in the history.
